Awesome new artwork from my friend and associate Josh Rivers. The boy and girl illustrations were inspired by his recent trip to Toronto when had the opportunity to take in the culture and do some people watching. So great to see his own unique style emerging with these fictional characters.

These pieces are not of any models or individuals (I’ve been trying recently to work without a source in front of me). I wanted to capture that feeling you get when a stranger becomes a real person. A nobody you pass on the street without even seeing them before suddenly has a name and a family and a story. There is a beauty and spark of life you never noticed before in what, moments before, seemed shabby or unlovable, and you wonder how many fascinating lives have walked right by you, unnoticed. read more on Josh’s Blog
